M. Patrice Eiff, MD

P4 Co-Principal Investigator and Director of Faculty Development

Dr. Eiff joined the OHSU Department of Family Medicine in 1990 and is currently a professor and director of faculty development. She received her M.D. degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1983 and completed her family medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center in 1986. Following residency, Dr. Eiff completed a one-year faculty development fellowship at Duke. She served as the Leadership Director for the OHSU National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health from 2003-2007 and chaired the Women in Academic Medicine Committee from 2000-2005. In 2005 she was appointed as Director of the TALENT Program, which is designed to improve the advancement and retention of women faculty in the School of Medicine.

Dr. Eiff has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Her book, Fracture Management for Primary Care is the leading reference text for fracture management in the primary care disciplines.  She is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Her outside interests include tennis, boogie boarding and spending time at the Oregon Coast.
