Margaret N. Howieson

Senior Project Coordinator

In her role with TransforMED as Senior Project Coordinator, Margaret coordinates various projects for the VP's, the CFO, and the Practice Enhancement Facilitators. The substance of her projects include developing spreadsheets to compile and assess data, pulling reports on website assessment tools, preparation for kickoff meetings and site visits, keeping track of milestones across multiple projects, and compilation and dissemination of assessment reports.

Margaret's work history has included various positions in healthcare administration, analysis, and internal consulting at several large healthcare organizations in Seattle and Kansas City. She has a broad knowledge of administrative, office, and systems processes, as well as indicator development and report design.

In addition to her administrative experience, Margaret has functioned as a change agent and group facilitator, and has worked with teams developing quality improvement models and managing patient populations.  She spent several years away from healthcare working with students at the Kansas City Art Institute and managing a large urban apartment building, before her return to the healthcare field at TransforMED.

Margaret holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, and studied systems theory in the Whole Systems Design Masters program at Antioch-Seattle.
