Jay Fetter, MSACPCI Program Director
In his nearly 17 years with the AAFP and AAFP Foundation, Jay has managed several key education, workforce and public health initiatives including the AAFP student interest initiative, Task Force on Student Interest, Bristol Myers Squibb Awards for Graduate Education, Parke-Davis Teacher Development Awards, AAFP member affinity programs, Task Force on the Care of Children, "Arizona Study" measuring the factors that influence student choice of family medicine, AAFP Degree of Fellow, AAFP/F Corporate Development Program, and P4 Residency Demonstration Initiative. Most recently, Jay has provided staffing leadership to the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors as Executive Vice President and received AFMRDs highest honor as a recipient of the President's Award. Jay is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BS in Education/Worksite Health Promotion. He also has Master of Science in Administration (MSA) degree, with a concentration in health services, from Central Michigan University. Jay is member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, American College of Healthcare Executives and Association of Medical Society Executives. |
